If you have been thinking about purchasing a gnome and can’t decide whether its best to go wooden or plastic then fear not. I have 10 reasons to go with wood below. -Plastic coming soon-
1 – Who wants an identical clone spit out of a plastic mold? Give me a hand carved gnome with a broken nose and a missing finger. They just have more character.
2 – Wooden gnomes are sturdy. If you have kids this is all that really matters.
3 – Wooden gnomes have better survival skills. I wouldn’t suggest taking a plastic gnome camping.
4 – If his head falls off its easier to glue back on.
5 – Wood gnomes don’t mind the mud. If it starts raining, don’t worry about it. Just let them play. Plastic gnomes are notorious for not wanting to get their paint messy.
6 – They are nearly as loyal as the dog. Plastics are relatively loyal as well but they just can’t compete in this area.
7 – They don’t melt in the sun.
8 – Wood gnomes are much less likely to be mistaken for one of those cheap plastic Santa Clauses.
9 – You won’t need to worry about the wind stealing your beloved gnome.
10 – You can carve the gnome’s name into his shoe.
